COVID 19 Reopening Plan

GBOD Hospitality Group will reopen El Chingon, located at 560, Havana 1920 and Meze Greek Fusion for dine-in at 5 p.m. today, Friday, May 22.

“We are happy the day is finally here to bring El Chingon and Havana 1920 back and return some excitement back to the Gaslamp Quarter,” said Ray Davoudi, partner in GBOD Hospitality. “This will be a gradual process, but we are happy to reopen and looking forward to providing a fun, safe escape for our guests.”

All three restaurants are continuing to offer delivery and takeout via GrubHub, DoorDash, UberEats and Postmates, as well as by calling or online direct from each restaurant.

Following the guidelines put forth by the State of California and the city of San Diego, the restaurants will limit occupancy to 50 percent, as well as follow all health and social distancing guidelines, including cleaning and disinfecting protocols.

PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING
We ask all our guests to please respect social distancing guidelines of 6 feet while inside and outside the restaurant.

TEMPERATURE STATION
Please stay home if you have a cough, fever, or shortness of breath. Guests and staff will have their temperature taken via touchless thermometer.
Green = good, no fever
Yellow = concern, entry is not allowed
Red = fever, entry is not allowed

WEAR YOUR MASK
We ask that all guest wear a facial covering any time they are not seated at their table. All GBOD staff will staying safe in masks.

WASH YOUR HANDS
Please wash your hands or use sanitizer upon entry into the restaurant.

SANITATION EMPLOYEE
A designated staff member will ensure everything is sanitized.

GBOD HEALTH SAFETY DIRECTOR
Management has completed the ServSafe certification. There will always be a certified manager present.
